The
development of our quality products is
mainly based on knowledge gained by
intensive scientific and medical
research.
Our medical cooperation is concentrated
on experts in dentistry, particularly
pediatric dentistry, behavioural scientists, pediatricians and
neonatologists, who investigate areas of
paediatrics such as "Sudden Infant
Death Syndrome (SIDS)”. According to
the latest findings SIDS (at the moment
approximately 1 case/week in Austria,
over 2000 cases/year in the USA) can be
reduced for 50-85% by using pacifiers!
In this field we are currently
contributing to several research
projects in this particular field (New
Zealand, England, Holland, Austria,
etc.) and are often asked to pass on our
knowledge at international medical
conferences.
MAM also has very high safety
requirements for baby products. Baby
products are subjected to the strictest
possible standards, which are laid down
in international regulations and have to
be strictly followed by the
manufacturers. Thanks to our
participation in the standardisation
process, we are in a position to
contribute important knowledge and
research results which lead to a still
higher degree of safety and the
avoidance of accidents caused by baby
products.
This involvement in diverse areas
related to paediatric health and child
safety means that MAM is always one step
ahead of the competition. |
